The standard license includes one year access to free customer support, and one year of free upgrades to newer versions. After one year, you must pay a maintenance fee in order to continue to receive these benefits. If you choose not to purchase the maintanance fee, then you can continue to use the TimeGen software but must purchase any upgrades at full price.
